Speechflo Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and Speechflo (“Speechflo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your access to and use of the Speechflo mobile applications (iOS and Android), web application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Relationship to Apple

If you download the Speechflo app from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are an agreement between you and Speechflo only, not Apple.
• Apple is not responsible for the Services or their content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services.
• In the event of any failure of the app to conform to applicable warranties, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property infringement.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services.

By using Speechflo, you represent and warrant that:

• You meet the age requirement
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement

3. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Speechflo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Services for personal, non-commercial use only.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the app
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use the Services in any unlawful manner

4. Account Registration

To access most features, you must create an account using:

• Email and password
• Google Sign-In
• Apple Sign-In

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your credentials secure
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

5. Description of the Services

Speechflo provides speech and fluency practice tools, including guided exercises and AI-assisted feedback.

Speechflo is not a medical device and does not provide medical, clinical, or therapeutic advice. The Services are intended for educational and self-improvement purposes only and are not a substitute for professional speech therapy, diagnosis, or treatment.

6. User Content (Audio and Video)

Some features allow you to submit voice or video recordings.

• You retain ownership of your content.
• You grant Speechflo a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Services.
• Speechflo does not claim ownership of your voice or likeness.

Use of these features is subject to our Privacy Policy.

7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payments

Speechflo may offer paid subscriptions.

• Payments are processed through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or RevenueCat.
• Speechflo does not collect or store payment information.
• Subscription pricing, billing cycles, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the applicable app store’s policies.

You are responsible for managing subscriptions through your app store account.

8. Free Trials

If a free trial is offered:

• It is limited to one per eligible user unless stated otherwise.
• Your subscription may automatically renew at the end of the trial unless cancelled in advance through the app store.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws
• Upload harmful, abusive, or infringing content
• Misuse or interfere with the Services
• Attempt to bypass security or usage limits

Speechflo may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

10. Termination

By You

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time.

By Speechflo

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• You violate these Terms
• Required by law
• Necessary to protect users or the Service

11. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Services, including content, software, and branding, belong to Speechflo or its licensors.

You may not use Speechflo’s trademarks without prior written consent.

12. Third-Party Services

The Services may include integrations with third-party services.

Speechflo is not responsible for third-party content or services, which are governed by their own terms.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

Speechflo disclaims all warranties, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Speechflo shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss of data or profits
• Outcomes resulting from use of the Services

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Speechflo from claims arising from:

• Your use of the Services
• Your violation of these Terms

16. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict of law principles.
